The pet shop had actually wanted to give me two Golden Retrievers — Mango and a magnificent male stud dog. He was tall, strong, and full of energy, the kind of Golden everyone would stop to admire. But after some thought, I decided not to take him home. I wasn’t sure I could give enough time and care to such a spirited dog.
Her eyes were gentle and full of warmth — just one look at her could quiet the noise of the world. She carried a calmness that made everything feel peaceful.
