I often came across posts about cats passing away on Facebook. Every time I read them, my eyes would well up with tears—and I’d immediately get up to hug my own cat. I’d always felt grateful that Milo, with his tabby cat genes, was strong and healthy from a kitten. I’d thought he’d easily live to be 15 or older. I never expected something like this to happen to him so soon. Today, at 9 a.m. on August 6, 2025, his life came to an end forever at the age of 7. Over these 7 years, we’d been with each other every day; he’d long become family to me.

Duoduo was once a stray, injured and alone. But through unconditional love, he became family. Even when faced with illness, his story became a miracle of resilience and care. This is a heartfelt reminder of the unbreakable bond between pets and the humans who choose them.

I hate myself so much. I hate that I wasn’t at home; I hate that I never took her for a check-up. I loved her so, so, so much—more than I love myself. She was the first cat I ever raised. I got her when I hadn’t even graduated yet.

We could not stop crying, but we know that her love will never fade. Maya will always be the most beautiful memory in our hearts.

Although he’s no longer with us, Toby's light will always shine in our hearts. His love, his playfulness, and his warmth will forever be a part of us.

Coco's health started to decline. At first, we didn't notice, until she began refusing food and became unusually quiet. We took her to the vet, but the doctors told us her condition was too serious to treat.Her departure left a hole in our hearts, but we know her love and warmth will always stay with us.
